Two Burnaby Businessmen Arrested On Cocaine Charges

Two Burnaby businessmen with ties to organized crime groups have been arrested by officers of the Organized Crime Agency and charged with a number of drug related offences.

On the evening of August 16th, police officers from the Organized Crime Agency of B.C. concluded a six month investigation that resulted in the arrests of two men with ties to Canadian organized crime groups. Both men own local restaraunt and warehouse businesses in the Burnaby area and each has been charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.

Over two kilograms of cocaine, drug trafficking paraphenalia and cash were seized during the arrests.
