51 Kilograms of Cocaine Seized from Hells Angels Member July 24th, 2003 10:30 a.m. Vancouver, B.C. On July 21st, 2003 investigators from the Organized Crime Agency of British Columbia arrested Glen Jonathan Hehn and Ewan Lilford relating to a cocaine trafficking investigation. As a result of this investigation, both Hehn and Lilford have been charged with: 1. Possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine , and 2. Trafficking in cocaine. Both men were initially arrested and subsequently released. The arrests are a result of a three week investigation called project “RUBY” undertaken by the Organized Crime Agency of British Columbia involving the trafficking of kilo amounts of cocaine being distributed in the lower mainland. These two local men, one a member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, are facing drug charges after 51 kilograms (112 lbs) of cocaine were seized earlier this week by members of the Organized Crime Agency of B.C. (OCABC). Glen Jonathan Hehn, of surrey a full member of the B.C. Nomads chapter of the HAMC and Coquitlam resident Ewan Lilford, an associate of the biker club, were arrested Monday after leaving a public storage locker located at 5555 192nd St. in Surrey, B.C.. Hehn, 30, and the 29 year old Lilford were detained after being observed by OCABC investigators loading boxes from the public storage locker into the cab of the truck being driven by Lilford. Search warrants were obtained under the provisions of the CDSA for the truck, a public storage locker, a business and a home in Coquitlam, and were executed on Tuesday where cocaine with a wholesale value of $1.5 million was seized. This investigation is continuing and it is anticipated that more charges may be forthcoming.
