Impact Assessment Presents Marihuana Grow Operations As A Serious Danger

On April 18th in B.C. Supreme court, Mr. Justice J. Stewart handed down a sentence of two years less a day to a marihuana grow house operator in Regina v Su. (SCBC-40942-01D) Federal Prosecutor Michael Galambos presented the attached Community Impact Assessment to the court, which was attested to by its author Mr. Alex Tyakoff. Mr. Tyakoff holds a B.A. and an M.A. in community planning, and is a tactical analyst with the Organized Crime Agency of British Columbia. This impact assessment brings to the forefront the fact that marihuana grow operations present a very real and serious danger to British Columbians in all communities.
